The Carson Investment Research team is proud to officially release our 2023 Mid-Year Market and Economic Outlook. Stocks have had a very impressive rebound so far in ’23, on the heels of one of the worst years ever last year. As we noted six months ago, we thought the odds were high for potential surprises this year, with most of those being to the upside. We were among the few not expecting a recession this year.
So at the mid-point, how do we think the second half of the year will pan out?
